Default Any opinions on a Kimber Rimfire?

Hi everyone,
ive been kicking the idea around of getting a kimber rimfire 1911.
my question was if anyone has had any personal experience with any of them and if they are worth the money.
i had a chance to get some hands-on at a local dealer and was instantly impressed...
it appears very well made and super light!
any info would be appreciated. thanks!

I have a kimber UC II and a colt gov. model. The kimber shoots just as good if not a bit better than the colt and the UC II has a 1" or 2" smaller barrel. Recoil is a little more because its a smaller gun. I'm very satisfied with my kimber but they are expensive. Like they always say "you get what you pay for" lol

I shot next to a guy at the range once who had a Kimber chambered in .17HMR. After about nine gazillion jams, he told me "It is no wonder they don't make this anymore"

a shooting buddy of mine has the very light 1911style kimber 22... its different, but to expensive IMO.. that being said if u love 22's and have the money go for it as it was nice to shoot and such, just kinda odd at how expensive it was to me....
