Default CZ P-01 fail to chamber?

My CZ P-01 is failing to fully chamber a round sometimes.

I think what happens is that when the 1st round is chambered, the next round in the mag is being pushed forward a little bit. When the next round goes to be chambered, it stops halfway into the chamber. At least thats how it looks when I remove the mag after chambering a round.

this is with the 10 rd. factory mags as well as mec gar 14 rd. mags

This only started happening recently. What could cause it and how do I fix it? I'm going to my uncle's on Monday and he is a gunsmith so I'll probably take it along with me so he can look at it.

1. Have you cleaned it lately? Especially the chambler area. Is it lubed?

2. Main spring? Is it weak/worn or did you take gun apart and possibly assemble incorrectly?

3. Ammo. Reloads (to long OAL)? Factory? Try a different factory brand type.

4. Mags? Two bad mags are a stretch but not impossible.

5. Loose grip? Some guns don't shoot well with a limp wrist/loose grip, try a tighter grip.

Let us know the outcome!!

Cleaned and lubed after the last time I shot it.

Not torn, shouldn't be weak or worn already. Got the gun brand new maybe 2-3 months ago. How do you tell if its weak or worn? Everything looks to be assembled correctly.

3. Ammo. Reloads (to long OAL)? Factory? Try a different factory brand type.
Winchester White box and UMC ammo have been shot through it. The WWB had no issues that I remember. Not sure if this happened once I switched to the UMC (was the cheapest on sale at the time) or a little while after. I'll have to see about getting another brand.

I have 4 mags, happens with all 4, so I doubt its the mags.5. Loose grip? Some guns don't shoot well with a limp wrist/loose grip, try a tighter grip.
I'm using the same grip I've always used. I doubt it is this.

Questions answered inside the quotes.

It happens with the very first round to be chambered also, so maybe it's not the moving forward of the round in the mag. Guess I'll wait until Monday.

Have you tried CZ Forum at http://p201.ezboard.com/bczechpistols82792 Lots of good info on all CZs including problems and fixes. Depending on the amount of use the P-01 has had, it may need to have the extractor removed and cleaned. This has been known to cause FTF in other CZ models.

Tried another brand of ammo and had no issues at all.
I also shot a box of the previous ammo and had no problems with it this time.

I have only shot WWB in my CZ 75-P01. Had one FTE out of 700 or so rounds. It was due for a cleaning when it happened.
