I, for one, found the SF's slimmer, sexier frame improved my shooting dramatically because I felt that the handgun was actually manageable. I have huge hands with long fingers and still found the 21 to be too big, like holding a Coke can with a slide attached to it! The new 21 SF is almost as desireable as my XD45
. I really liked it and would prolly get one if $$$$ allowed. The cool thing is that the 21 SF also has an ambi mag eject, good for you devil lefties out there ![]() .EDIT: Removed some incorrect info, see dinod one below for correct stuff on mags. I gotz it bakkwerds. ![]() In short: worth the extra $50-100 and the wait!! Special thanks to SPAG for their Glock Day!!

The Old G21 can take old & new mags while the New G21SF can only take the new mags with the extra slot along the front of the mag. The new mags also have the mag catch/release grooves meant for the old G21. Glock is only making one G21 mag - and they work for both styles of G21. Old Mags will NOT work in the new G21SF as they do not have the correct mag catch/release groove. |

there is no doubt about it ,the 21sf is way more comfortable. i would never own a reg 21. i don't know what they were thinking when the came up with the 21 grip size. it's not only wide front to back but it's wide side to side. 21sf was the right move by glock. i love mine. the sig 220's are my favorite 45 but my 21sf is not going anywhere ,ever.

I bought a 21SF back in November.
Before I decided on it I went to a gun range and put 25 rounds thru a 21 and then 25 rounds thru a 21SF. It was like night and day, I bought the 21SF. I also bought a Hogue wrap-around grip which really helps when shooting outdoors in 30 degree weather.

hey davem55 nice. you'll like it more and more. i gotta tell ya ,i had to take the little houge slip on grip off cause it took up the space that glock cut down on. it became to large again with the slip on grip. but i'm glad you got all set up with your 21sf for shootin. it's acurrate boy. i love mine , gonna get the agrip tape though for grip without growth. enjoy and be safe. mike4g

I may take off the Hogue grip once the weather warms up, we'll see.
I have Hogue grips on my SIGs and have really gotten accustomed to them.

I have small-medium size hands, the Glock 19 is my everyday gun.
I have shot the Glock 21 and the Glock 21SF. For me, the 21SF's slightly smaller grip made a difference. One of my range staff, who has large hands, said that he did not really notice any difference. He carries a Glock 23 and is in the process of picking up a Glock 21. I really like the Glock 37 .45gap, but don't like the price of the ammo ![]() Try to shoot them both and then decide. Good luck

I bought the 21 SF recently, I have over the years ALWAYS wanted the Glock .45, but the 21 was just too big for my hands.. I had settled on the Glock 23 .40 on the advice of a friend who carries on on duty.. I went in to the gun shop during Glock days, and bought both pistols.. The 21 SF fits my hand nicely and the 23 will be a nice carry gun..
As for future purchases, there is a rumor out there that a SF version of the Glock 20 in .10MM will be out sometime in the fall... If so, The 20SF (hopefully) will be my 3rd Glock and maybe the 4th, if I decide to buy a Glock 32 .357 (I may just buy the .357 barrel and save $350.00) Dave |

I like the G37 myself, but not only is the ammo expensive, the casings are getting hard to find. I will keep my 37 but I am looking to find a 45acp to replace it.
