I have the Bersa Thunder .380 (About 8 years old now) that I put about 500 rounds through it, never had a problem.

I too have a .380 Bersa, to me it seems well made and shoots well. Never had a problem with it.
I believe it to be a good bang for the buck!

I just transferred my Thunder .380 to my girlfriend last weekend. It's the only gun she's found that fits her hand and carries easily.

I picked up a Bersa model 85 .380 to replace it. Same reliability as the Thunder but a little heavier. Not impressed by the blowback design but having 13 rounds in the mag is nice.

    I highly recommend both models.

I also have the Thunder .380 and like it. It fits my hand better than most small pistols and the Mag extension lets me get more than two fingers on the grip. I've put around 400 rounds through it with no trouble. It's a good gun.

When I was working gun shows I was amazed by how many people carried the Thunder 380 on a daily basis. I can not remember anyone who had a negative opinion of this gun.

Thanks all of you to answer my question and comment. Im a member of a forum like this in Argentina. Bersas pistol are use in Argentina for Federal Police in 9mm caliber, Thunder model.
I have a Glock 17, but they are very expensive here, like another (CZ, HK, COLT, ETC). For example, Bersas price is 450 usd, and glock around 1000, hk usp 1800 usd...

    Best regards.

I think they are a great value and somewhat under rated, though not by those that use them!

Well, I have had a different experience with this pistol.
I purchased a bersa thunder 380 with duo tone finish as a possible carry candidate. After about 2 or 3 hundred rounds with plenty of failure to feed, I then considered other options. #1 I did not take the gun back to the dealer, and #2 I did not send back to the company. It is just sitting in the safe awaiting trade or something. This is the first time I have had an issue with any purchase.

I cleaned the gun after the first use and that did not improve anything. I also found out that if I put one less shell in the mag. that it would feed properly. Apparently I just lost faith and patience with it, so it sits unused. I will say on the good side, that it appears to be well made, accurate, and I shot it well when the thing would work.

Let me know if anyone wants it on the cheap or trade offers accepted.
