Default This reminds me of the old wives' tale about wet cats and microwaves

... and I bet you thought that "microwaves" in the title line was the weird twist, right?

Ouch!!! While I was stationed in Germany, we had a guy clean his M-4 with oven cleaner and stripped off all the blueing (not a good idea, don't try it! ). He got a summary article 15 (about equivalent to a summary offense) plus statement of charges (had to pay for damages) and extra duty (not explaining that one ) for it. I wonder what kind of trouble this guy got into?

That looks like it could still work fine for a frenchman. i see a spot where he can tie white flag, and it cant possibly break even worse if he trips over it when hes surrendering.

I'd like to know how he cleaned it that required 'drying'. Did he stick it in the dishwasher?

That report was spun to save face.... We all know he dropped it each time a German tourist went to ask him for directions to Paris.

I think it lost some of its cosmetic value.

HA !!!

Dreyfus: The beggar was the lookout man for the gang.
Clouseau: That is impossible. How can a blind man be a lookout?
Dreyfus: How can an idiot be a police officer?
Clouseau: Well, all he has to do is enlist...
Dreyfus: Shut up!

Nahh, see what happened wuz...

Some French Police used to carry American steel framed .357 revolvers. I see their transition to "modern" weapons has been successful.
