They are called Little People.

The reason being is that most Little People are actually Achondroplastic dwarfs. The use of midget is typically pejorative.

Considering the propensity of most forum members to insist on "magazine" instead of "clip" and "LTCF" instead of "CCW" I am sure the proper nomenclature would indeed be accepted.

Too bad those 238's do not work so well... ask lcompton how hers are...

A magazine surrounds cartridges, a clip does not, and we indeed do have the License to Carry Firearms in PA, not a CCW, or license for Concealed Carry of a Weapon. In FL, I can carry a blackjack; in PA, I cannot; the LTCF is only good for a firearm.

Conversely, in FL I am expected to conceal, as I understand it, while in PA the somewhat unequal LTCF allows me to carry openly inside the bounds of Philadelphia, even if it is unnecessary for walking, open carry in the rest of the state.

I would expect someone with any pretense to seriousness in the subject to understand these differences. I would not necessarily expect a general understanding on this forum of the pejorative nature of the term "midget" with reference to those people who you indicate refer to themselves as "Little People." In fact, to the ears of a layman, the second term sounds, if you will forgive me for what is not intended in any way to be a groaner of a pun, belittling.

I thank you, though, for the PC terminology brief, and will attempt to remember to employ "Little People" if ever I find myself underlining, for some inane reason, the obvious height difference between myself and any in-person, future interlocutor, or third-party lilliputian subject of discussion.
