I take it with me when I go collecting rent. Got 2 410 shells up front followed by the 45's!

Go for it! The gun's on my wishlist as well, I just seem to keep passing it up when something else catches my eye at the gunshop.
Since you said you are going to use it for a fun gun, who cares whether it's good for defense or not? If (when) I get one, I will definitely go with the three inch cylinder. Why? Because it will shoot both 2 1/2 and 3" shells. Why not have the extra capability? Good luck with whatever you decide to do... and give us a range report if you get one!

Your advice is not relavent to anything I said. "Woodland creatures"??? What in the hell are you talking about Dakez? It sounds like you may have a bit of peanut butter still packed "in" deep dude. |

I think I may have changed my mind.... Not about a Judge but about which model.
I saw the 2 1/2 inch cylinder version with a 6.5 inch barrel today. It looked like it would be absolutely sweet to shoot. *drools*

Oh man... I finally got to the gun shop and held the 2 Judges they had in my hands.
The 3" magnum with a 3" barrel was a heavy hunk of metal. The grip is excellent but the gun itself didn't feel right in my hands. Now... the 2.5" cylinder 6.5" barreled alloy version... That felt like a whole different revolver to me. That's the one I want. No doubt. I have small hands and that grip just molded into my palm and felt very secure. No doubts... it's the one I want.
