Steve Bergin is on a distinguished road
Default Cooper 1860's pistol

I've been looking for parts here for the last few weeks, but I don't think any exist. Any idea where there might be specifications, or if any descendents exist? Thanks, Steve

Default Re: Cooper 1860's pistol

From my understanding they are copies of the colts, so colt parts may fit or work. If you are trying to keep it original then you may have difficulty finding parts. I would not doubt that if the markings on the pistol were faded/worn away, then they are being mis-identified as colts.
If you haven't checked with Dixie Gun works here is the link http://www.dixiegun.com/
You may want to give Gun Parts Inc/ Numrich Arms a call, 866-NUMRICH (866-686-7424) There is nothing on their site, but they may still have parts, but in limited quanities..

Hope that helps

Mike
