    Default amt/omc "backup" opinions?

    im looking at getting a small carry gun. i found an AMT/OMC "backup" .380 coming up at an auction. i was wondering if anyone has experience with these pistols.

    I had one. It is a good reliable gun, but weighs a ton. You are better off with a keltec or a ruger lcp.
    Is the consensus that I have heard the most.

    As I said in the referenced thread...

    I've got one. Used it as primary carry for a few years. Totally reliable, crappy trigger, heavy for its size, snappy recoil. The P3AT is better in every respect.
