Default A little trigger pull gauge fun Lyman gauge vs some of the pistols in my safe

Yesterday I picked up a digital lyman gauge, And I decided to try it out on a few of my pistols. There were a couple of surprises.

Tests 10 pull average, measuring from the center of the trigger.

1- 1960's Colt Detective (round count unknown)
SA 4 lbs 13 oz average
DA 9 lb 4 oz average

2- Kahr PM9 (200 rounds or so)
DAO 6lbs 2oz average

3- Glock 29 (about 300 rounds on a 3.5 lb connector)
Safe action 6 lbs 5oz This was a surprise Guessing glock measures from the tip rather than the actual middle.

4- Kimber compact stainless (at least 10k rounds)
SAO 4 lbs 11oz

5- Para p18 (750 rounds, trigger job by Pa Patriot)
SAO 4 lbs 7oz Right where I wanted it! thanks Rich!

6- H&K p7m8 (round count unknown)
SAO(5lbs 03oz)

7- Taurus pt1911 stainless(About 500 rds)
SAO 6lbs 01oz

8 Seecamp lws25 (round count unknown)
DAO 9lbs 05oz

9 Magnum research Micro eagle 380 (100 rounds)
DAO 8lbs 15oz

10 S&W M29 bounty hunter. SA 4lbs 09oz DA Unknown.(All exceeded the 12lb max on gauge)

11 Baby Browning SAO 4lbs 03 oz

12 Beretta 21 Bobcat 22lr Round count unknown
DA 7lbs 9oz
SA 3lbs 2.9oz

13 S&W 25-2 45acp Custom (possible Jovino)
DA 10lbs 2oz
SA 4lbs 3oz

14 Sig p229 40/357
DA 8 lbs 14 oz
SA 4 lbs 01 oz
More tests when I have time.

Totally unscientific, but a lot of fun.

oh i definitely will. i read all about the KEVIN design the first time i saw the micro. the only complaint i could find online about it was the price.

i have been looking at them off and on since they came out.

I'm looking at that Micro Eagle closely. Why do you like it better then your Seecamp .32?
