Default Holster for P3AT?

Just got a Kel-Tec .380 and I'm looking for a good pocket holster. Can't find one in Pittsburgh, probably going to have to search on-line.

Don Hume and Desantis, and Galco make a good pocket holster. I like the Desantis it just stiff enough without being too rigid.

I use the DeSantis Nemesis with my P3AT all the time, so much that I never use the other holsters I have for it. Great holster, not overly thick, no weight, and stays in the pocket when you draw.

I have the same holster and found that the holster wants to stay on the pistol and come out of my pocket when I draw unless I have tight pants on. gf45acp, do you ever have this problem when wearing loose pants?

I do not have that happen most of the time. In one pair of pants that I have that has very large front pockets the pocket will come up a bit, but the filler on the holster that squares out the bottom catches on the back edge of the pocket and retains the holster. The outside finish of the holster holds to the interior of the pockets of my pants, and jacket breast pockets, very well. The holster was a little tighter when it was new, but it now has about 7 months of daily use. Overall, I am very happy with it.

I have been carrying my P3AT for the last three months or so in a Grandfather Oak ultra-light Kydex pocket holster and I just love it.

http://www.grandfatheroak.com/Stockdesigns.html

It keeps the pistol in the correct position, has a built in catch so that it stays in the pocket on draw, and can't weigh more than an ounce.

It's not as pretty as some of the fine leather jobs, but it's super effective.
...And did I mention that it's only $15 shipped.

I carry my Kel-Tec's in Asraels' leather pocket holsters. Check out the economy line for $20. They work great, and are really cheap. They might not be fancy, but who cares for a holster you cant see? Best bang for the buck imho.

I've had this problem as well. I've modified my draw so that I catch the rounded tab on the holster (below where the triggerguard would be) on the corner of my pocket as I'm drawing. Works very well.
