Looks like a portable cash box to me.. A good brief case will do the same

It can be portable but there is a mounting plate to secure it to a fixed object. I keep my pistol in it so that I can get to it quickly, but my daughter cannot. With the pushbuttons, there is no key to fumble, just a quick code.

If your looking for a bigger safe. I highly recommend this one. http://www.libertysafe.com/safe_lifesafe.lasso I just bought one I think it just may be one of the smartest things i have done in a long time. It weighs 350 pounds so its not portable. It also bolts to the floor. and it is not tall enough for rifles. It costed me just shy of $600 after tax. In my opinion it is better then any of the sentury safes you will find at lowes or home depot.
