Question Wheel Gun Purchase, Need Advise

With Ammo & Reloading Prices as they are I'm looking into purchasing a 22cal Wheel Gun. I desire an accurate durable & reliable Product that isn't gone to cost me an arm & leg. I'm budgeted in the $400.00 OTD range!

Taurus or Charter Arms would be my pick in that range. 22's even used are getting pricey.

Used Ruger Single Six/Bearcat. The Single Six can also get the interchangeable cylinders to shoot .22 mag or .22lr and the Bearcat is small accurate and is just .22lr.

+1 to the Bearcat if you're just looking for something fun to plink with at the range, and don't have overly large hands (the grips are a bit 'wee').

I also reccomend the Taurus Trackers in .22lr, and any older used K-frame .22s. I own the latter and love its accuracy.

Might go a little bit over your target price, but for the ultimate in 22 revolver, it is only the S&W K-22.

They do come up for sale occasionally.

When they do, I am not usually at "right place, right time", so your chances go up.

If you believe in the Constitutional right to own and bear arms, we invite you to join a national group dedicated to preserving that right, and to preserving the Constitution of the United States. You cannot afford to not join The Patriotic Resistance! http://www.resistnet.com/

National, state and district groups are now forming; and we need leaders!

I'd say Ruger Single Six if you like single action or Smith and Wesson if you like a more modern feel.

Another vote for the Bearcat as a plinker. It's small, light, accurate, fun to shoot. Fixed sights are tough, but limit it's utility as a straight target gun.
