personally the ones ive seen particularly 9mm or .45 are fairly decent they werent overly accurate but they hit the target and didnt fall apart i think they are a good "truck weopon" cheap enough that if it gets stolen its not like loosing a $600+

I have a hi-point C9. Got it off a buddy cheap. It was enough to get me into shooting...Ok range gun but wouldnt wanna have to rely on it. not very accurate at all at least for him or me or any body we know. The slide no longer stays open when the mag is empty but not a big deal at the range either. Also the last round out of every mag usually jams up, and itn not real uncommon to jam in the middle of the mag. but it was kept loaded for a long time so maybe it just needs a new mag. This is just my experience with my gun so i dunno about any one elses. But i guess for the price you won't beat it.

i just got a cf380. its a great gun for the price, much better than i expected. was only able to shoot it once so far and accuracy was lacking, but everything else was great.

my brother has a c9 and it was some issues with jamming. our friend, who sold us the guns, said he has delt with hi-point and they are pretty good about their life time warranty. he said he hasn't had many problems, but the few he did were taken care of by hi-point.

i did hear that after 1000+ shots that the finish started coming off the feed ramp and jamming can be a problem due to this. this can be cured by polishing the feed ramp.

Heavy as a brick, but mine has eaten everything.....even when I left it in the litterbox for a week. Yeah, I'm serious.

Here's an eight shot group at 15 yards.....about 3 inches offhand.

A lot of parody, but it runs......

Because the internet tends to preach a lot of things without a lot of evidence. People tend to parrot what they hear without a lot of real experience. I like beating cheap guns and seeing what happens. In the end, it got to be fun and kind of twisted, but the gun DOES run.....even when you bedazzle it.
