Default Re: Looking for a Compact Pistol for Concealed Carry

My vote would be with the PM9. It is more easily concealed and carried than a J frame S&W revolver, and easier to shoot. Light enough and small enough with the six round mag to carry in a pocket, but giving you seven rounds of 9mm. Carried out of pocket IWB you would probably forget its there, and you could use the seven round mags, just like the P series or CW series. More versatile than the P or CW.

A friend has one and I've been able to shoot it a bunch. Liked it a lot. I'd be buying one myself, if it weren't for the incoming administration, which has convinced me to stock up on hi-caps instead.

I owned a Kahr CW40 - I switched to a G26 because of that reason you mention above. Recoil.....bounced around quite a bite. Not very fun at the range after a few magazines through it....Hand/fingers would sting & become numb after a while.

The G26 is not much bigger & with the pinky extender on the bottom of the mags.....fits the hand well.
