Yea I know that no one ever pays MSRP, but $369 is a heck of a lot less than $624...

I was hoping that the M&P would be better. They are more comfortable to shoot than a Glock and
handle at least as well when shooting fast, like at a steel match or IDPA. Try to shoot yours using a
good rest and you'll see the accuracy difference. I got two because I like them.

I got my M&P 9mm at Bob's Gun Shop in ERIE, PA.
I Paid $515 after taxes & fees. It came in a silimlar package
like the XD's. Three 17 rd. Mags, Blade Tech double mag pouch,
& a great Blade Tech Holster. I like the pistol very much.

I have the MP9 and like it a lot. With night sights and Streamlight it is my home/property defense gun along with the 12 ga. Ithaca. Same reason as others. I think it is very well designed, feels great, USA made, shoots a lot better than I do.

I shoot mostly the Win white box stuff. I don't load for 9mm anymore. Too easy to buy bulk ammo so have not tried cast bullets. I would think it should do o.k. though with a hard cast bullet such as the Laser-Cast which is what I shoot in revolvers. I do plan to try several loads from the bags and see which brands and bullet weights seem to perform best.

Don't have the Glock 19 anymore.

S&W site shows the M&P45.

Does anyone know if this gun is available yet?

Try Buds Gun Shop. I get a lot of guns in from them. People like their prices and they are usually pretty quick to ship.

Just wondering... is there any rubber on the grip? It looks like there is, but I haven't gotten around to trying one yet.

Rubber grips feel nice, but shirts get stuck to the rubber, and your concealed weapon becomes not-so-concealed.
