Question Anyone keep a Glock that's for HOME defense, not CARRY?

My Glock 19 was purchased as a home defense handgun to supplement my Mossberg Persuader. Other than trips to the range, mine sits in the dark, twiddling its thumbs, but ready to act if needed.

My Glock has been asking a lot of questions lately...
"Why does the Colt get to go for so many rides in the car?"
"Why does the P32 get to go to dinner with you and mom?"
"I hear there's a rifle that gets out more than I do - what's up with that?"

I've tried to explain that he has a very important duty to perform and that we're proud of him for being so dependable and fearless, but I think he's been hearing rumors that other Glocks get to ride along with their owners as carry guns.

Just wondering if anyone else owns one with HOME DEFENSE as it's sole purpose so my Glock doesn't feel like he's the only one who has to stay home all the time.

My old 17 sits in the drawer beside the bed with a TLR-1 on it. There;s a shotty beside the bed so I don't know if I;d use the glock or not.

Why not get an XD and try some cross breeding? Maybe they'll produce the one true weapon and end the discussion once and for all.

Dude!
I almost CHOKED on my cereal!!!

The Glock speaks English very well now. You see, I won't tolerate foreigners living in MY HOME that can't speak the language! Since he has little to do all day, he brushes up on his English and I've tried to encourage the relaxing art of Yoga as well. Now the Yugoslavian SKS... I'm havin' a BITCH of a time understanding her!
