None of my guns get carry time except my S&W 36 on the way to and from the range. I just don't have a gun that's comfortable to carry (which is why I want Rule10b's colt mustang). I'm a big guy and it'd be near impossible for me to carry either with getting up and down under desks and whatnot all day.

I just don't carry. I'd like to but with the strict firearms policy at my work, if I do carry, it's gotta be real small.

But between my AK, XD, and Glock 21, I think I have the whole home defense thing covered......for now.

Glock 17 here. Pre-ban 17 round clip, tritium night sights. I'd love to have a lasermax, but for that price I'll buy a Glock 22 or something.

The load is, of course 9mm, hydrashocks, forget the grain and load.

My backup is a .357. I figure if I have to resort to that, it is a dire problem, and I won't care if I go deaf.

A Glock 17 huh?

Never woulda' guessed it!
Welcome to the forum!

Here's my setup.

Night sights as well, with 15 rd magazine w/Hydrashock-Winchester SXT mix, M3 light with red led.

MY backup is actually my wife and the above G19!
Most times my hand reaches for the Mossberg Persuader for those sounds of questionable origin in the middle of the night.

I can't believe a post with the word Glock in the title has resulted in so few replies.

Granted, I've enjoyed the humor, but I'm still curious if others own Glocks purely for Home Defense purposes.

Hmmmmm... maybe I should have included the words "vs 1911" or perhaps "Drugs" in the header too?

How about 1911 on drugs vs. Glock?

But is a 9mm 1911 as good as a Glock in .45 GAP, with both shooters on drugs and being NRA members?

Well, are we talking NRA life members and a single or double stack 1911 in 9mm?

Funny thing is that I was just looking at a Colt Commander in 9mm just a few hours ago.
