To get an honest value quite a bit more information would be needed. It would need to be looked over to see if it is all original or if it has been arsenal refinished on one or more occasions and now contains parts from several different generations of changes.
To give you an idea tho. I have and all original Remington Rand in 90% original condition that I paid $1600. for and it is worth every penny.
I also have a real nice conditon Remington Rand that was arsenal refinished and has had the hammer, thumb safety and slide release replaced at the arsenal with 3rd contract parts when the gun is a first contract 1911 instead of the 1911A1 so because it has the military refinish job and 3rd contract A1 parts the firearm is only valued at $800. instead of the 15 to 18 hundred that an all original 1911 would go for.
Some of the difference in parts is as minor as the slide release going from straight cut serations to actual checkering but it all makes a difference in a collector grade firearm.
Here is a pretty good site to give you an idea on parts identification for original 1911 and 1911A1's
