Worst hanguns ever owned.
1. Colt Double Eagle
2. Colt Commander
3. Kimber procarry
4. Kimber raptor
My LES BAERS (2) of them i own run perfect not a problem, and as for the new Taurus PT-1911 i have 3 of them and not a problem to date one of them has 4,550 rounds through it and the other 2 are pushing 2,000 so i cant complain... even my glocks are better then the Colts and Kimbers i've owned

I had a Taurus PT 92 AF 9mm ... over 1000 rounds through it. I bought it used ... never had a FTF or FTE. It was dead on. Most accurate pistol I ever owned, more accurate than the Sigs and Colts I have owned. I wanted a decocker so I traded it towards a Beretta 92 FS. I really like the Beretta but it is not as accurate as my Taurus was. Sometimes I regret having traded it, it was one heck of a shooter.

As far as most unreliable I ever owned would have to be ... Cobray M11 / 9. I called it: "the jammer".

I've seen the same model Taurus tumble lead bullets, but shoot nice groups with jacketed.

The worst gun I ever had was my Kimber Eclipse Target II. After I worked it over, it's been one of my best.

Some gun work is like changing your own brakes. You may hear you need a gunsmith/mechanic....but it's really not that hard.

never take a gun to the "buy back"program. First they never owned it in the first place, so how can they buy it back. And the sell to them will be used for anti-gun purposes,as in 120 guns were turned in today to make the streets safer. Second, it can be used as parts for someone else who has problems. Third, I have found that with factory loads they shoot fine, but do not put lead reloads in them. They will not handle the excess pressures. It has to do with the barrel diameters, and a straight blow back mechanism. They are a good gun, for someone that cannot afford an expensive gun for self protection.

I'm really surprised about the number of "big name" guns listed in this thread as teh suxors! I started reading thinking it would be another budget gun trashing session, but actually seems to be the opposite!

I own Taurus an Ruger guns and I am completely happy with them. I also own a Walther P22, which I also love...I guess I don't have an opinion as to the worst gun that I own...

Just found this thread. I'm surprised that not one person has mentioned has mentioned Hi Point in spite of the number of folks who put it down because of it's price. Guess it might be a deal after all.

Tec-22 & Tec-9 both horrible.

I got rid of the Tommy gun just because it got so expensive to shoot.
Besides it served no real purpose other than a novelty item, and it bought my wife that rock on her finger.

I liked my P89 so much I bought another.
I like my Colt 1911 so much I'm in the market for another.

Average Baer will become famous soon enough
Default Re: The most unreliable handgun you have owned

I had a Nighthawk Custom ($2875 MSRP) Talon II (commander), which would FTRB 7/8rds through any magazine. The ejector was bent and loose in the posts and it went back. The day I got it back it did exactly the same thing. After being told to change my shooting style and grip (which has worked with 22 1911s over 25yrs of shooting) I sent it back and got a check.

The only gun I ever had "break" on me was a Glock 19. The take down spring decided to let loose and the slide fell off. Prior to that, it never failed to go bang. However, after that, it was promptly dismissed from my arsenal.

Most reliable: Every Les Baer I've ever had, or still have. Flawless.
