XD Serpa holster
Does anyone happen to own 1 with Dawson Fixed Percision Fiber optic sights installed on the XD?
My front sight is VERY close to rubbing on the holster and I can't afford for it to break off the front sight....I was able to put a piece of paper between the front sight and the holster, so I know there's a TINY bit of clearance...I was thinking about taking some sand paper and sanding away a little bit of the plastic around the area of where the front sight goes...any recommendations on what type of sandpaper to use?

I guess our guns are cousins so I'll chime in...jmho. I have a Glock 22 with Tru-Glo fiber-optic/ tritium sights and carry it in a Blackhawk Serpa. I haven't experienced any problems, except the sights rubbed a little bit when I first got the holster. I backed off the trigger guard screw a small amount and it fixed my issue. It was forcing the front of the slide into the track of the holster. Don't know if it will fix the problem for anyone else. Regards. Al
