Default Craftsman mag holder for P3AT

I've been trying to decide how I'm going to carry any spare mags for my newly acquired P3AT. I grabbed an extra pouch from a Craftsman Utility Knife. I've exchanged mine a couple of times when it starts to wear out, so I have some extra pouches. I found that a single mag fits just a bit loosely (closing the flap keeps the mag retained) and that two mags can be squeezed in and it will still close.

With both mags in it, it is. I doubt I'll carry it with both, but at a minimum it's nice to keep them together while being stored, transported, etc.

Capital Idea Gnbrotz,

I'll have to start looking around for some spare pouches. I wouldn't worry about the bulk as it's meant to carry a bulky ultility tool to begin with, So with it riding on your belt, It's just gonna look like a Leatherman or Gerber instead of 12 extra rounds of problem solving.

Try this one, it hold 2 mag horizontally one on top of the other. Will not work if you use the mag extensions. Very thin and doesn't to look like a mag or knife pouch, also wraps around belt for easy on and off.

I've found the watch pocket on my jeans and shorts to be perfect for P3AT mags. Two placed one in front of the other, or one with my Leatherman Micra in front of it to keep the magazine upright and in place. Probably won't work for right handed people though.
