I have checked at some local shops, hamburg, whitehall, emmaus, etc & they all say with lots of luck the SP 101's should be available sometime in june/july but realistically i shouldn't expect anything till at the earliest september.

that's just the sp101...not the ammo. i think that's gonna be a different story.

From what I've seen in print, it's a hot .32Mag. The .32Mag never did catch on like they wanted it to. I have one and like it for targets and small game. Ruger is only putting it in the 3" SP101, for now. Someone needs to make it in a longer barrel.

Charter Arms 2000 has issued the "PATRIOT PUG" with 2 1/2" barrel and will begin issuing a 4" barrel version with adjustable sights, in June.

There was an article in American Rifleman a few months ago about the .327.

One more round in a snubby. Better ballistics than .38SPL+P and less recoil. Sounds promising to me. Ammo will probably be fairly expensive, but .38SPL isn't that cheap anymore either.

Call me a skeptic, but I see this going the same way as .357SIG.

That cartridge was hyped to hell and back...and here we are, ammo is through the roof, very few people shoot it, and we come to find out it a solution to a problem we're still trying to discover.

It might be a neat load, it might work just fine....but I don't see it catching on to the point where it's "the" caliber to get in a snubby.
