call up targetmaster by the PA/DE border. I always see one in the case when I was going there a week or so ago for a couple of visits. Had one box sealed that they were selling to a customer after they looked over the display model. Check what their availability is.

I didn't see a $100 difference.
You probably wouldn't with just firing them each just once. Shoot a few thousand rounds through both, and I could almost guarantee you'd have one broken gun. Of course I can't prove this but my experience with owning and shooting Ruger and Kel-Tec tells me that Rugers are far more durable than anything Kel-Tec makes. Your money. You get what you want, and you usually get what you pay for.

I have been reading about 'mouse guns' for months and all reports were less then what I call reliable. Kel-Tec was one. Frame sprearing after a few 100 rounds seemed to be a problem, plus other problems that I won't go into.

So far reports on LCP are very positive.

$27 for one of those little mags? That blows.
YES -- I agree. But now a-days, it seem to be common practice, to charge 'high' for mags.
But .......just can't work with one mag.

I have had only two on my backorder list show up. I am selling them for $275.00 + tax and nics. I have back orders for 17 as of now and am not taking orders until I am sure I can start to fill the ones I have.

Its raining here, but I ran up to the range to see if the LCP works.
I ran two mags each, Remington 95gr and American Eagle 95gr.
No problems at all.
AT 20 feet all hit within the target. Trigger is a bit heavy but all in all, its a nice little gun.

Picked up my LCP on 27 March at Grice Gun Shop. $259.99 before taxes. If Grice it having trouble getting them in then that's ugly. Demand is so high its like trying to buy a Nintendo Wii..... you have to be at the right place at the right time to get one. I've watched them go for $350 on gunbroker, not including shipping and transfer fee's. Ugh.
