Well Gentleman
Here's the whole story, I bought a new LCP 380 from my local gun shop here in Florida. Just before going to the range I took the gun out of the box and started to load the magazine. I inserted the magazine in and lock it in. I pulled back the slide to inject the first round and I notice the slide did not close completely. I then unloaded the magazne and loaded a different brand of 380 ammo and it did it again.

I immeidiately called Ruger and talk to a JIm who is one of the gunsmiths.
He ask wnat I was using for ammo. I told him one of the ammo was Remington HPJ 102 gr hollow pt. He said they were having problems with certain ammo that was causing this problem, He said send it in and we will bore out the barrell. I told him I was very concerned this is new and I don't I really think I should have to do through this. He said let me try it, so I did, The gun came back a week later and I loaded it and the slide still did not come back complettely closed. But I went to the range anyways, I had to force the slide all the way closed and then was very hestitated to pull the trigger, Well the gun fired and the next round went in fine and the slide closely completely but the third round went in and the slide closed but a is fired and then the fourth a jam. If you want to carry a gun in your pocket and feel that it is going to be there when you need it, be my guest and good luck And they will not give me a new gun, they want to try an fix it again so I sold it for 50.00

ballydictor...
I don't blame you for being ticked off......... I have shot about 400 rounds thru mine with all kinds of cheap ammo and not a problem yet (knock wood) you seem to have gotten a lemon(same thing can happen with a new car) I know they had some problems with the trigger breaking and my luck it would break when i need it the most...... Overall though i really like the lil'guy. But I did go out and buy a revolver for when out in the hiking trails

Caps lock is cruise control for cool.

No problems with mine. Pretty snappy but I love how small it is.
