Default XD Gear

question... What is the quality of the holster that is included in the xd gear pack? I will be purchasing one soon and would like to know if a separate holster is necessary.

Thanks,
T.Fly

That stuff will work on the range, but they are junk IMHO. Like a Fobus only much worse. Glock's "sport" holster is also junk.

Look into buying new as soon as you can.

It..sucks.

Take a look at the Crossbreed Supertuck. http://www.crossbreedholsters.com

A number of people, myself included, are big on them.

i think the mag holsters are well built, certainly not for carry though.

The speedloader has saved my fingers some pain at the last two ABSOLUTELY freezing group shoots.

and the holster is fine for at the range, I wouldnt carry with it though.

For basic range use. They work good. Heck, I've used mine all last year at the IDPA shoots, and did alright with them.

Would never use them as a everyday carry holster though.

Much better stuff out there. But for range use, they are more than adequate.

might as well toss the holster. I cant understand why Springfield will sell you such a nice quality pistol, and include a cheappo craptastic dollar store holster?????? The mag holders are OK, I've used them.
