I've had the Smith and Wesson model 422 and wouldn't give it up at any price.

I feel bad cause I don't have a .22 target pistol. Now I have to go buy one.

But it won't be a Ruger MKII. I used to clean those constantly at a gunshop I used to work at. I never liked them.

I had one also that I traded in on the new Sig Trailside the I bought.
I missed it so much that when this 622 popped up, I jumped on it.

Default Re: Favorite .22 HandGun?

My 2206 will fail to extract occasionally. I set it back to S&W once, and they adjusted the extractor free of charge. It still does it occasionally, and I think it depends on the ammunition I am using. Still a great shooting gun!

Ruger Mark II with 5.5 inch bull barrel. I could put all 10 rounds into a quarter sized hole. From a rest, I'm not that good without

My wife's new Taurus 970 may give it a run for the money in the long run. We'll have to wait and see how it holds up.
