Question which finish?

Plan on purchasing a kimber ultra carry II in the next few days, don't know which finish?? Stainless or blued, does it make much of a difference?

Default Re: which finish?

On a gun that is frequently carried and exposed to sweat I always choose stainless.

I have the blued

If In the holster for an extended period of time ... and not fired or cleaned... I find that some surface rust does appear from sweating

Simple to remove

I usually clean my carry (UCII) once a month or so. Certainly after every time I fire it (as opposed to by competition / target gun which can go several trips between cleanings).

Has not been an ussue.

If carrying often, probably the stainless might work better. I prefer the blued (black) gun... but it is my preference.
