Kimber kpd
Anybody have any input on the Kimber kpd?I am thinking about buying something for my wife to use and am wondering how this pistol rates.Thanks.

i heard the KPD has a heavy trigger(8-9lbs) with a mushy reset
your money would be better spent on a S&W M&P if you want a striker fired gun with adjustable grips S&W lifetime warranty is top notch

Never even seen one. At range or at store.
advertised Double action trigger pull is consistant at 8-9 pounds. Thats heavy for most ladies IMO. For the price, I think you may be better off looking for XD, M&P, SR9, Glock(and I hate Glock). Not to mention you may find it hard to find upgrade parts afterwords, because its somewhat minor gun? My .02 http://www.kimberamerica.com/kpd/kpd.php
