That's a good price. I think I paid around $495 for mine.
It's a great gun. Never had a bad experience with it. I shoot it at the range and carry it frequently. It's not my favorite range gun but it's no slouch either. Never had a malfunction of any kind and very easy/comfortable to conceal. |

After yesterday at the PAFOA shoot, I just love them and will soon have one as an everyday carry pistol.
I shot one all day. Here are my thoughts and results of the first day with the gun. At 7 yards. I could knock the center out of the head on on IDPA target without much effort at all. A couple other guys all had the same experiance. At 25 yards, off hand, shooting as quickly as I could accurately. I shot a group that I could cover with a paperplate. Long range accuracy was my biggest concern with this smaller pistol. Not anymore. I was impressed for a subcompact pistol. I was shooting the house(room to room clearing) with it and the RO commented that I shot very well considering I was using a Subcompact. (Remember, this is my first day of shooting this thing). I then went over and shot Clay Pigeons from about 15 yards(not flying. As targets). Out of the 10 targets, I only missed twice, but hit the one I missed with the next shot each time. The RO there told me that it was my fault, he could see me anticipating the shot and pushing the gun down just before I shot. Clay pigeon shoot. Never expected the XD subcompact to do very well on this course of fire. But it ended up totally convincing me that the subcompact can be very accurate if you do your part. I'm impressed. (Not me shooting. Just a pic of the Clay Pigeon Shoot)

Ihave the XD40SC and as you said about your 9, It is very accurate. I've only shot 40 rounds out of it but I was really impressed.

Mine came with 2-10 round mags and 1-16 round mag with grip extension. I love the gun, it shoots well, feels good in my hands. I carry it everyday! The only bad experience I had with it was my own fault. I put on night sights with a brass punch and mallet and the old sights were a bear to get off. So I boogered up my slide a little bit but not bad. You should not be disappointed.

Just checked my local gun shop. They have a OD green bottom with a black slide for $489 that I like. It has the package with the holster and mags and all too. Trying to figure out how much I'll save if I go with Gunbroker. I don't think it is enough to go that way. Think I may have to get mine at my local shop. Support them since the savings aren't substantial for me.
Till I figure in Transfer fees and postage and handling to get it off of Gunbroker. And then add taxes to the gun at the local shop. It is almost the same price. And I walk out with it. I can't wait to pick one up. Now.... what holster should I go with.

Love mine. Eats anything, fires smooth, durable, reliable, accurate, and small. I carry it and couldnt be happier. Trigger is not the best, but lets not be too picky for a gun this good. I carry in a Desantis "tuck this" tuckable holster, it works. Looking to upgrade to a minotaur when my wallet replenishes for the holidays and AR build. there is only one prob with the XD: people see it, and talk about glocks.
