You didnt have anything other than the pink done to it did you?

I loved the trigger, not sure if you had a smith smooth it up for you or not.

Trust me. I have pointed out some of the faults that I have witnessed with Glocks. And I have paid dearly for it by numerous people on this site. I have sworn off talking badly about them ever again. So, it isn't just the XD crowd that can be defensive. Trust me on this one. Gun Owners take pride in thier weapons.

I can honestly say I have never seen a XD FTF or FTE or not feed anything it is fed ( I can't say this about a Glock. I'm not bad mouthing guys. I'm making a general statement. Please don't attack ). And this honestly amazes me. Your the first person I have ever heard bad mouth the XD. But hey, your allowed. (I'm not allowed to bad mouth Glocks though )

I currently own two XD's and will be purchasing my 3rd shortly.

Same here. I wish I would get my bonus already. I'm dying to get one on my hip. Just can't decide which color combo to go with.

From my experiance, you at first think the trigger feels long and drug out. But then you shoot it, and the more you shoot it, the better the trigger feels. It all just seems to come together. I am tempted to get the work done that someone else mentioned from Springfield (trigger job, night sights.....). But then I remember, I shoot this gun great. Why mess with it.

to me from what i shot that day in 9mm here's how i compare the trigger travel

kel tec p11's travel was like a flight to russia..not pleasant at all...and when you get there you really arent happy.

glock 19...getting better...like a trip to a store you're really indifferent on, you get what you want in the end.

xd9sc...was like getting a quickie, rolling out of bed and then finding you dont need to travel the stuff was delivered

Great description.

I think the XD trigger is typical of service pistols (aside from 1911s), relatively long pretravel, slight creep (that gets better with age like a fine wine ) and then it breaks clean with a little overtravel.

I've never shot a Glock though. My natural presentation is like punching with a fist, pretty much a natural familiar movement and doing that with a Glock for me is aiming at the ceiling. Just the way my hands work. I'll add though that I imagine the Glock grip angle makes it easier to lock the wrists for easier recoil control? Each type has something to recommend it I guess.

How is the Glock trigger?
