I think a group picture of all the multi-colored XD's is in order

Allright, Mtbkski, you can put yours next to mine

I'd really like to get some feedback on this little anecdote I was delivered when at a shop recently. I was told, contrary to common sense and this universe's physics, that the XDSC we're more accurate than the service model. This can't be true, right?

But either way, I really want to pick up a pair of XDSCs soon. I love the service model that I have and I want an XDSC40. I also wanna pick up a sub compact XD in 9mm for the better half/$sink/wonderful young lady who wants a new carry option. I'm trying to find a good deal for both of them in Bi-Tone. If any one knows of such a good deal, please drop a note.

All I can tell you is to read this range report. I was impressed and so were those that shoot this pistol.

One thing Springfield talks about is the XD's Point and Shoot Ergonomics. All I can tell you, is that I shoot the darn thing even better once I am under pressure and not trying to concentrate on the sights so much. Faster I shoot, the better I seem to group my shoots. And I have heard this from many owners of XD's no matter what size they have.

Ohh I hear ya on the point-shoot ergonomics. I've been carrying my XD40 for over 3 years. But, I was just taken back by this gun shop guy's claims that the sub compact is more accurate than the 4". I mean, he defended his points viciously...

If you come to the group shoot on Feb 10th, you can give mine a whirl and see for yourself. Shooting one would be the best way for you to decide for yourself. Personally I think its a nice little piece for a woman, easy to use, and easy to conceal.

Don't worry Tony. I am trying really hard to use my sights all the time. But I think that those times that I get carried away, I'm moving and shooting and going to town and let one go before I know I have a good sight picture (I almost have it, I just rush the darn shot), that is when the darn thing surprises me. I can't imagine how good I could shoot with it, if I was getting a good sight picture first.

And just for you, I will make an all out honest effort to slow myself down a bit to make sure that I have that sight picture before I shoot.
