yeah, just bought ammo at W-Mart, their 9mm WWB is still 15.72+tax for 100 round box. cheaper than anything in brass FMJ I can find anywhere else. Dont be suprised if they go up soon, everyone else has done ammo price increases since the new year.

I am going to call and get a price on the subcompact with the nightsights installed. Only problem with it, they only come on all black ones. I may have to put a set on after I get mine. What the..... Just called the gun shop. They can't find the Nite Sight version in the book. He is going to call Springfield and see what is up for me. I will keep everyone posted on what I find out.

They just called me back. They can get me a black one for $559. They want $479 for an all black without the night sights for comparison. I just may have to order mine to get the sights on it since I figure it will cost me a bit more than $100 to buy aftermarket and have them installed.

But.... Do I want an all black one. Then It will be just like what you guys have.....

I figured id add them (night sights) after the fact if I wanted them. Where did you shop that you found it for 479? so i know to check there in the future.

I need to get a carbine or rifle since the sks kick the bucket (id really like a cheap AK I think)

I went with all black for concealment purposes (i usually wear black shirts) and my deal said that any time he gets bi tone pistols in they never seem to sell (used or new) which I've heard from a few people. Personally, I like the all black.

Although...an anodized slide would be kickass.

As for ammo, if WM is about 16 per 100 thats 160 for a case (wwb)

aimsurplus is the same (sans shipping so that choice is out)

I need to call my neighbor to see what his price is.

Very nice looking pistola. Looks a lot like my SC.

+ 1 on the Don Hume 715. I carry in the 715TB when carrying my SC. Very comfy, easy fast/smooth draw. Can't beat it for IWB holster (IMHO).

I will end up getting the all black, cause that is the only one that comes with the factory night sights.

Problem is, I'm not sure if I like them or not. Seen them on another thread. I think I would prefer the 3 dot system instead of one on top and one on the bottom. But I really don't know. I want to go find one in a shop and play around with it a bit. They do have a really good reputation.



If I decide against the Heinie Sights, I can order a different color body or go with the Bi-tone. I will keep you posted. I can't wait much longer. Something is going on Lawaway soon till the bonus check comes in.

my (from copes) accessory kit came today...the case had all kinds of scratches and scuffs all over it.


the mags had been used at least once or twice (prob at fact, but there were light usage marks on them) the case looked like someone played hockey with it.

they had obviously flipped the foam on the inside too as one side has brown stains all over it.
