Default Went to the range today...

First time in a LONG time. I hadn't shot my 92FS in over 2 years! I put 125 through her today though so it felt great. I'd only shot a few mags when I got her so she finally hit the 200 round mark (I'm a bad owner :-( ). I went to A&S over in Youngwood. It's a bit of a drive but I heard it was nice. The staff was incredibly helpful and patient with my questions (first time at an indoor range). I rented a G30 which I put one mag through. I just don't feel natural gripping them. Then to top it off I was limp wristing like a 13 year old girl so it wasn't the pistol for me. They didn't have an XD in 3", but they had a 4" compact in 9mm. I really liked it. Ended up putting about 60 rounds through it. I must admit though, that even after shooting the XD I still love that Beretta! It just balances perfectly for me and I wish it was easier to carry because it just feels natural to me. Anyways, I was just pumped and felt the need to share. It's been WAY too long since I'd last gotten to put some rounds downrange! The monday after Thanksgiving a local club with an indoor range is having a shoot so I'm gonna swing over there and hopefully join. It will be nice to drive 10 minutes instead of an hour. Off to clean my baby...

I go on sprees, I'll take off for a coupla months then the urge just hits me and i have to go. It does feel good to get out and vent some tension (especially when the Eagles are losing).
