Fitch
Fitch: NICE specimen, in much better shape than mine. I bought mine in the condition it's pictured in (above). I had every intention of occasional carry, and it fit the bill perfectly. re: Walther info...have a look at:

Or you could do the next best thing! I had the back of my front sight drilled, downward, at a 45 degree angle. Then I filled the hole with florescent orange paint. Been working just fine for the past 20 years.

Just wondering, what's a *great price for one of these compared to a good price?

A great price is around $375 - $400 average is $450 - $500, this is for a PPK, right?

See here for the price range.

I do all my Price searches on http://www.gunbroker.com . If you find it somewhere for cheaper than on Gunbroker, than chances are it's a great price.

Something similar to the PPK. Has a good description on the site.

I found mine about 5 years ago. The slide has some pitting and the blue's thinning, but it shoots great and that's what I wanted. I can always polish & reblue it at a later date.

I carry a ppk/s(newer s&w model). It is a great guun for CCW reasons, like has been said many times it is not the most powerfull or accurate, but I am sure it will get the job done if needed.

I own a 1968 Ulm manufactured Walther PPK. Date stamped om barrel along with proof marks. I've been told that the last German made PPK's imported were about 1968-69
