Default Asking people what to buy?

I read so many posts that people ask what should I buy where I as a reader have no idea what you want it for or what you already have. After a while it gets really boring reading after 4 or five post to find out what you really want doesn't exist or you already have it.

reading a post is a lot like watching tv. if something comes up that you don't want to watch change the channel.

if something that comes up that does not interest you do not read it.

They aren't quite as boring as this thread though. Don't like it, don't read it. Don't want to read it, don't read it!

Crazy Charlie, don't you remember the excitement of buy your first (or any new) gun? Try to have some fun with these threads. Remember, the primary intent of forums like this is entertainment then education.

alot of forum members really respect the opinion of other people on this forum so they want to hear what there is out there, and how it performs sure sometimes they forget to put the intended use but usually by post 3 its asked. Also guess what alot of us gun nuts will buy any gun thats for any purpose f it catches our eye.

IBTL!

Nothing wrong with what to buy threads...everybody likes to hear some feedback on a prospective purchase before they plunk down hard earned cash!

I usually never ask peoples opinion on what to get next, because I usually get
"Get Glock" Which I hate.

But its always nice to get people's opinion on things. Specially if your new to the whole gun scean.

Remenber, all of us were newb at one point. Simply disregarding it by saying "gets really boring reading after 4 or five post" would show that poster is being somewhat ignorant, and not being helpful fellow who shares same interest

Asking "what to buy" only goes to helping someone make an informed decision.

Someone with prior experience about a certain firearm may be able to point out a critical flaw that is often overlooked.
