According to a poster on TOS, someone who shot it was quoted that 'some of the brass had .223 on it'. At 2100 fps (if this is correct) it's right there with the 5.7X28 cartridge.

On the link Bigrepp61 posted I just read the same thing about the .223 brass. That's pretty interesting. If its muzzle velocity is 2100 fps could be a contender with the Five Seven.

I'll pass. Never liked the feel of the double stack 1911's.

This is ideal. May even be my first 1911, I was gonna get one in 9mm anyway so I'll just hold off on it until this comes out. :B

NO, NO, NO. I can't get ammo or brass for .327 Federal. Now I going to want one of these. I can see it being one you will have to reload for. WANT.

Necro'd. Just saw this pistol in a magazine today. Doesn't seem to be any new info since earlier in the year. Anyone heard anything about availability? Was thinking about another 1911 anyway (who isn't) in 9mm. This thing is interesting.

Sarco in Easton ,Pa had five of these on Weds earlier this week, they had just arrived along with 24 boxes of ammo. I believe he said the price for the pistol was $699.00,comes with one mag and 2 extractors and the 9mm barrel. The extractor gets changed when swapping out calibers. Only comes with one mag and that just sucks ,I hate having to cough up extra right away. In my opinion you need at least 3 mags per pistol. I think these pistols and the ammo will be scarce for a while. I forgot to ask what the ammo would cost. The grip is not bad for a wide body 1911. I have a 40 cal hi-cap wide body in for cerakote right now ,its a fusion with the STI frame and this grip setup does not bother me. I think the only reason I would not buy this pistol is if the ammo is expensive or hard to obtain. On the other hand I might just be happy with the rock island hicap in 45acp or 9mm instead of this pistol.

Who's selling it? This would be a badass birthday present.

That PAFOA will contribute towards. Who's gonna donate a dollar? One fuckin' dollar. I'll be so happy. I'll never be paranoid again.
