yea i just purchased this exact revolver not too long ago. I had shot big caliber pistols like .357, .44 mag, and .50 cal, so i was expecting this to kick a lot considering the 2" barrel...and it did, after a few rounds i started getting a good feel for it. I was flinching at first but towards the end i had it under control, and hitting tight groups at about 20 feet. It definately has a nice kick to it, but with practice you can handle it. I got mine used for $199, i checked it out before purchasing it, and it looked good to go. I LOVE IT.

That gun is what the ol lady carries , shoots 38 plus p from it , so far it has held up fine. Don't know about the price since she got hers alot of yrs ago but I would suppose it is about the going current rate. I paid less , but like I said that was awhile ago

I have a different taurus .357 (model 65) and really like it a lot. The price seems about right at 350. Buds gun shop online sells it for 320, and they are generally a little cheaper than most stores from what I have seen. it looks like a nice gun.
