Default 1911 DVD and/or Book

Can anyone recommend a DVD that would be good for me to learn how to customize my (now two) 1911's. On one of them, I want to put in a new trigger and sear (i think) to take up the travel, and on the other one (the springfield champion) I want to slowly make it just the way I want it. Part of the fun for me, is to learn new skills and the inner workings of these guns.

I have numerous videos from AGI and I find them to be very informative. The guy who originally told me about them is a professional gunsmith that I know and trust and he said that their information was very good for the average gun owner.

Thanks for the link. I also remember seeing in my Gun Tests magazine an area where you can buy media, but I never paid much attention to it. It could also be AGI.

I bought these a couple years ago and found them very informative, but they aren't perfect. They do leave a lot of details unexplained.

I bought a couple of those videos years ago. Good info, just didn't like the narator, Lenny Magill, he likes himself too much.

I think I'll get that "Build" one for starters, then reach out to the 1911 forums for the rest. And if all that fails, then the 1911 Jedi Lycanthrope would be the next step. I believe his IPSC ranking is Grentorg Civos either last year or this year.
