Why the rest of PA hates Philadelphia

By Stu Bykofsky Philadelphia Daily News Daily News Columnist THE SCOTTISH poet Robert Burns wrote about the gift "to see ourselves as others see us." Let's take a look-see around Pennsylvania. When was the last time you thought about Elk County? How about Westmoreland County? Pike? Lycoming and Wyoming? Do you even know where they are? They know where we are and they don't always like what they see. How do we see them? We repeat James Carville's line about Pennsylvania being Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between, and we chuckle over President Obama's casual remark about how "they" cling to their religion and their guns. They call themselves Pennsylvanians; we call ourselves Philadelphians. A smug portrait emerges. We see ourselves with arts, pro sports, finance, communications and culture. They see us as a concerto of crime, corruption and squandered tax dollars.

That writer made Harper sound like a total bitch...the fact she voted for one gun a month in philly isn't helping her much in my book...
The writer sounded like a total douche that I'd imagine wears make up and plays with dolls on a regular basis...

Giving Philly to NJ is a win-win for everyone. The shift in population will cause NJ to gain a couple of Democrat Congressmen, while PA will gain a couple of GOP senators. Also, Philly residents will have the "benefit" of living with gun registration, one gun a month restrictions, and a plethora of gun control laws. I don't think that they could be happier.
