Interview for LTCF questions

Hello all.

I am about to apply for a LTCF in Philadelphia, but am a bit intimidated about the interview process. What types of questions should I be prepared to answer? My record is clean, so I am not concerned about inadvertently forgetting some long ago offense. I just want to go in to the process confident and prepared.

Interviewing !. Sorry I can't help you there but in Lehigh County, I just fill out the form, pay the money and go home, my licence arrives in my mail box approx 30-40days later. No one called or asked anything. Some other County can get their licence within 20mins. on the same day.

Chester County. Go to the sherrif's office, pay the fee, get my pic taken and it arrived in my mailbox 15 days later.

Just be honest and don't lie during the interview. Don't offer anything beyond what is asked in the question either.

They ask the same exact questions as on the application....no big deal whatsoever.

You will be finger printed and photographed buy computer. The application is the same as anyplace else. Never been harassed at all. Between me and my wife that is 6 application so far. Don't sweat it! If your record is clean you will be fine!

As mentioned, it's mostly the same questions you already answered. They ask a few more in-depth things as well. Not 'have you ever been "arrested"?', but "have you ever been _detained_ by the police?"

Has anyone NOT been at some point?

My favorite part was "do you have any tattoos or scars?"

And again, as mentioned, you will be printed. The don't photograph you (but you have to bring a passport photo with you) until you go to pick it up in a couple months, give or take.

They need to know about tattoos or scars for identifying purposes, (should you turn up dead somewhere, easier to check who it is).

Mine only took 5 weeks.....pretty good for Philly. I've heard of people waiting as long as 12 weeks ! Then again, my father's only took 3 weeks.

Do they take pictures of you tattoo's? Do they write down descriptions?


Hell, I haven't gotten pictures of my tats taken by the cops since I left the Latin Kings.

Wow, for once Im pretty happy to live here in the land that time forgot. Got mine in 3 days when I applied, no interview. Renews take about 20 mins.

They write down descriptions. And I think I remember you from the gang......you wore the short sleeved flannel shirt, right ???
