Nothing personal man, but that's a bunch of BS. It's not a lack of time, it's a lack of urgency and a whole lot of laziness. With the advent of this thing called the Internet that Al Gore was kind enough to provide us right before he personally stood in front of bulldozers in the Alaskan Rain Forest/Oil Fields, you can download the registration, fill it out, and mail it in.

Right now, you're part of the problem. Become part of the solution.

Get this.. just got back form voting in Franklin township at the South Mountain Church. Was met by a lady outside who was pushing for some democratic judge to be elected that was not endorsed by FOAC. I politely told her that I am not voting for the person she represents and that I was using the FOAC guidelines to help me make a decision on some of the judges. She wanted to look at the guideline and lo and behold FOAC didnt have an approved candidate for that elected judicial spot, so she responds back with 'good, I guess your not voting for this one.' I told her I use that guide as just that, a guide, and that I make my own decision on who I vote for. I ended up making a vote in that position that was more of a defensive vote more than anything, to block a legit potential antigun judge. After I voted I met her again and she starts mumbling to me about one issue voters and then dropped the bombshell on me that: "[i]judges don't have much influence on gun issues/I]". My jaw dropped right there and I said all judges need to worry about it following the Constitution and not interjecting their political idealogies into legislating from the bench. I really felt like setting her straight, but I didnt want to ruin the good feeling I had from just voting.

Another citizen taking up his responsibility, to keep his government in check and his voice heard. Awesome, very proud.

Great job, man! A civic duty should not be taken lightly, much less disregarded.

Good for your son. One of the best days I ever had was listening to my 18 year old son explain the platforms our presidential candidates stood on during the election, to my 60 year old sister, right after she told him she voted for the first time in her life [for Obama].

He explained the entire history of all the candidates, and information on there stance on a lot of subjects and basically gave her heck, 1) for never voting before, and 2) for screwing it up the first time she tried.

All in a polite and respectful way. [he doesn't get that from me]

Don’t WE at least owe them that much respect for the Ultimate price they paid for our rights, like going to go vote?

As to the reasons why more of the same, lame political change agents are always running for office from both "R" & "D" party that is a much different problem and one of the reason Firearm Owners Against Crime (FOAC) was created to deal with correcting that by electing PRO GUN / Pro Constitutional rule of law people to hold those offices.

Sad fact is there are still many "No Suitable Candidates" in many races, some thing we all could do our small part to help change if we choose to.
My son used this sight after our talk to research the candiates, He was very proud of himself when he got home, and his dad is pretty proud of him too.

I have to agree with you, Jeff....people complain about the outcome, but didn't do anything to try to turn it around. I'm trying to get my buddy to vote, he refuses to do so because he believes ALL government won't do anything. someone rep FNG19 for me.
