The truth of the matter is that there are a few hundred people that could be counted on for any participation. Most of the 20,000 are people who came once, or twice, or three times, primarily to buy and sell.

I didn't see this mentioned, although I may have missed a few posts (have read this over several days), but wouldn't getting our legislatures to amend the law with something like "shall be destroyed within 72 hours actually means destroy/remove/delete/no longer be available through any means" be an option?

Maybe it's only me but, lately I have begun to see the PSP in an entirely different light. I know that they are they are supposed to be a state wide police force of sorts, however it seems that the Pennsylvania State Police have almost become the private occupying army of a repressive political party.

If I understand the situation properly the PSP are controlled by the Governor. It seems that they are starting to act like they are somehow above the laws they have supposedly taken an oath to protect. The Governor has been quietly working against our second amendment rights for his entire tenure. The PSP seem to be ramping up that effort as of late.

Their blatant attempt to make FFLs "register" AR type weapons as firearms comes to mind. Along with this not to subtle attempt at a firearms registry I really don't think the State Police are working for the people , but against them at the Governors behest.

Has anyone else seen their fancy boots

According to Merriam Webster
Quote:
jackboot
One entry found.

Main Entry: jack·boot
Pronunciation: \ˈjak-ˌbüt\
Function: noun

1 : a heavy military boot made of glossy black leather extending above the knee and worn especially during the 17th and 18th centuries
2 : the spirit or policy of militarism or totalitarianism
3 : a laceless military boot reaching to the calf
Then again maybe it's just me.............................

I sent a letter to Congressman Jim Gerlach's office. They are looking into this and will let me (us) know the outcome.. I pointed to this post - so boys and girls we are on camera!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for your inquiry with our office. This email is to confirm that we have placed a congressional inquiry with the FBI regarding their 6/15/01 letter to the PSP. Response times from federal agencies on congressional inquiries can vary, but usually take between 30-45 days. We will continue to follow up on the status of the FBI’s reply. Once we are informed of their findings, we will be sure to share them with you promptly.

We appreciate your patience in this regard.

Regards,

Patrick Beck
District Representative
Congressman Jim Gerlach (PA-06)
