Mayors Against Guns & Brady Campaign Positions

For those of you who have received responses from your mayors in Bloomberg's anti-gun group, there's a good chance you've been told that they are not a gun control group.

A blog reader sent me a very handy chart comparing all of the Bloomberg group positions to the Brady Campaign's public positions. It is probably not a surprise to many that the positions are 100% in line with the Brady Campaign. There is nothing moderate about the positions they are taking on federal and state issues.

Even if your mayor has already spoken up in favor of retaining their membership, call him/her if you have not done so already. A strong showing may make them nervous about actually trying to implement the Bloomberg agenda.
