Default What If?

We have seen a huge resurgence of anti-gun bills here in Pennsylvania. What if these laws do pass? Given the current climate following the Virginia Tech shootings, those bills stand a better chance of passage by far than they ever have before. The timing couldn't be worse for us. So let's say we end up with the same sort of gun control that New Jersey currently endures. No gun with more than ten rounds in a removable magazine, no so called assault weapons ( semi-auto rifles with removable magazines, threaded barrels that can be fitted with a flash hider, a bayonet lug or folding or collapsing stocks). We are given 30 days to either sell them out of state, move them out of state, or turn them into the state police. Can we simply comply and give up? Do we hide them and become an instant criminal? Do we openly refuse to comply with this unjust law and chance a prison sentence?
Passage of these bills is a very real possibility, maybe more possible now than at any other time in the history of PA.
What would you do?

I think the line in the sand has been drawn and you see quite a few of the current democrates not saying anything about gun control. Not only that the PA legislatures heard from us they know what we think about HB 760 and the others. In some states like Tennessee their already allowing people to carry in publicly own buildings.

Things are going to go one way or the other really fast and its still unsure which way they go atm. Theres a very strong case that less carry restrictions and less gun restrictions (for those socialist states) are going to be teh way of the future. God help us if we screw this up then there will be no chance for us to maintain our arms short of rebellion...

First i dont believe any bill in this state has a remote chance in hell of passing if it did not include a grandfather clause.

Secondly, this state is still pro-gun enough to give those lefty's one heck of a fight.

However, to humor your post. I probably would become a instant criminal. Why, because the constitution says i can have firearms and no government entity is going to take them away.

Having once lived in the workers paradise of New Jersey, I know all too well what these petty tyrants are capable of. I faced this choice once before and went for option four, moving to Pennsylvania. I have no wish to face this again, but I know I won't be moving again. This legislation, if passed will effectively turn me into a criminal. I have no wish to join those ranks, but it will not be of my own choosing. These are not rights that this or any other government has been granted the power to deny.

I will comply immediately, as the government knows what is best for me and my family. They will protect me and mine 24 hours a day. They will tell the BG's not to break into my home because that is illegal. All of you should learn to trust your government, they're here to help.
