Turn up the Heat on Specter!
I was mortified when I learned that PA Senator Arlen Specter actually SUPPORTS the Eric Holder nomination for US Attorney General. It's a slap in the face to Pennsylvanians who live free under the Second Amendment. See Specter Website
Whatever you do, if you live in Pennsylvania, turn on the heat. Write him. You can email him here: Contact Arlen Specter You'll find phone numbers are there too, so please let him know the error of his ways. Contacting your senator is a great form of activism at a time like this, and he needs to know he's flushing his career down the toilet.

I sent in an email earlier from the GOA website. But I did it again just now from my own computer.
I made it clear that I am Gay and a gun owner. I tried to make the point that I have been one of his strongest supporters but if he supports Holder he will not be able to count on me anymore. And that each election he wins by a smaller margin. I started it by mentioning that I had read what he had said on Eric Holder on his website and how shocked I was that he could support such a person.

He's such a bastard guy. I believe his term ends in 2009. He's likely going to have at least one Republican challenger; Peg Luksik and/or Pat Toomey. Mike Turzai and/or Jane Orie might run if Toomey doesn't.
