Philadelphia and surrounding area for the most part. Mentally, I don't know.

During the course of the day, I have written to the majority and minority Chairmen of the House Judiciary and my Representative and urged them not to support these Bills. I would urge all members to contact the Chairmen (Caltagirone and Marsico) and their Representative and let them know we will not stand for any more senseless gun laws.

I got a positive response from my State Rep, Glenn Grell, to my e-mail outlining my concerns about the anti-gun legislation currently being proposed.

"Dear David,
Thanks you for your recent message through my legislative website concerning proposed gun control legislation. I am a supporter of the Second Amendment and the gun rights of law-abiding citizens. I do not expect to support any measures that would infringe on the rights of law-abiding people to maintain weapons for hunting, collection, self-defense and other purposes. You correctly note that more dedicated enforcement of current laws might reduce the incidents of gun violence that are so widely reported and tragic.
I appreciate you taking the time to let me know how you feel about this important matter. GRG

State Representative Glen R. Grell

The last time I looked the red counties out numbered the blue counties in PA by a considerable margin. Now if we could get the the sheriffs in the red counties to send letters to the Chairman of the committee expressing their resistance to these anti gun bills. it would be some real ammo in this fight. We might even get a few of the sherrifs in blue counties to go along for the ride. Is there a PA sherrifs assoc?
