While several of these are worrisome it makes no sense to contact your legislators at this time unless they are on the Judiciary committee. If or when they get reported out of committee we MUST all contact our reps to have them killed. If your rep is on Judiciary hoever get ahold of them TODAY to kill these bills.

IMHO this is definitely anti-gun legislation and should not be supported. I didn't read the rest of the bills through, so I'm not going to comment on those.
AN ACT Amending Titles 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and 53 (Municipalities Generally) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for limitation on the regulation of firearms and ammunition and for limitation on municipal powers.

Am I missing something here or does this say we're going to make the preemption law tougher on local governments!

You need to read much more of the act. It further goes on to state that various local governements, from counties to townships, will be allowed to restrict various firearms rights. Its VERY ugly and could infer that the AW ban that Philly had struck down could become the law of Philadelphia.

I would think that that we need to direct our efforts where it will do the most good. We need to Identify which legislators are maleable. and work hardest on them. especially those democrats that claim to be pro gun and on the committee if there are none and it looks like we can't stop it in committee then go to the house and do it again. One must alway remember the first duty of any politcian is to get re-elected. Everything else is secondary.

Is there any limit on how many times a bill or an amendment can be voted down? This seems like it would be a good approach. Seems like the same bunch keeps introducing this garbage over and over.

I was curious about this too...

These bills are different I think than the ones that got voted down in November, these seem to be even more strict.

I just wrote an e-mail to every republican on the Judiciary committee. I blended a conservative agenda with gun control. I have to make up another e-mail for the dems on that committee.

Can someone please post the house judiciary committee. I can't find it because they say it is not assigned yet.

I will try to follow up with letters to the offices of these senators and reps.

Phone calls will help as well. Anyone know when they will vote on these bills?
