Someone give Fast Eddie his "one reason" for private citizens owning high cap semi auto rifles.... A copy of the Federalist Papers that notes that citizens should have access to similar or equally powerful weapons as the foot soldier in the (unconstitutional) standing army.

Dont forget, that view was reiterated in Miller v. United States (1939)
