Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association
HB2011 and HB1243 Updates

So far, there hasn't been a 2nd Consideration vote on either of these bills. WE NEED TO KEEP UP THE PRESSURE, and continue to contact our legislators - ask them to tell House leadership to bring these bills to a vote! Ask them to vote YES on HB2011, and NO on the Universal Background Check amendment. In addition, the FOAC is requesting support for an amendment proposed to HB1243 (Mental Health Records for Firearms Purchases) that, if passed, will allow HB1243 to restore firearm rights to those who have recovered from a mental illness.

Default Chief Mark Kessler for sheriff

Gilberton's fired police chief is running for Schuylkill county Sheriff. Chief Mark Kessler needs your help getting elected sheriff to Schuylkill county. We need a sheriff that is pro gun and pro constitution in office. With Obama's new executive order proposals we need someone we can trust to protect our rights. Chief Kessler's not afraid to stand up for what's right. Vote Mark Kessler for Schuylkill county sheriff

This guy is bad for our cause, the best thing would be for him to just stop getting publicity

So, I guess your county is doing just ok with anti gun sheriff and waaaaay anti gun representative? Maybe our state AD is friendly? HELL NO. So, does it make sense to focus on those, who oppose your views and have DIRECT impact on you, instead of guy, that is just being dumb for our mutual cause and at the other end of the state?

Going to maintain neutrality on the issue, until Kessler, who, by the way, got his job back yesterday, will raise the question on national level of WHY THE FUCK DOES RURAL PD OF 4 NEEDS FULL AUTO FIREARMS.

If he got his job back yesterday, he is legally not permitted to run for sheriff. They changed the law about 5 or so years ago... active duty police officers are not allowed to run for public office.

Just read the paper....said Thursday they voted to fire him.

Agreed. There are way too many libs who are completely shameless with their actions against the people. They pretty much get away with murder, yet they hold offices. We need some who are pro constitution. Who cares if he's a little vulgar?
